On January 5, 2010, Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo personally visited Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Compound in Davao City.

The Chief Executive was accompanied by members of the Cabinet including Press Secretary Cerge Remonde, Trade Secretary Peter Favila, Labor Secretary Marianito Roque, Pres’l Adviser on Mindanao Sec. Jess Dureza and Pres’l Commission on Values Formation Sec. General Ma. Isabel Tobias.




Also present in this private visit to the sprawling Kingdom Compound were Surigao norte 1st District representative Francisco Matugas, Davao del Norte 2nd District representative Antonio Lagdameo, Jr., Pampanga 3rd District Representative Aurelio Gonzales, Leyte 1st District Representative Ferdinand Romualdez, Presidential Consultant Bebot Marfori and Mr. Charlie Gonzales.

No media was allowed to cover the event.

The President had a one-on-one conversation with Pastor Apollo. No one knows except both the Madam President and the Pastor on what they have discussed.
