Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Victor Ibrado, together with Army Generals and staff from the unified commands of the Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force and the Philippine Navy made a courtesy call to Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Compound in Davao City. The said visit was part of the Armed Forces’ traditional New Year’s call.

Pastor Apollo and General Ibrado, along with the area commanders of the AFP from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao exchanged views and courtesies over breakfast.

Among those who were present in this traditional new year’s call was AFP Vice Chief of Staff Lt. Gen Rodrigo Maclang, and joint staff officers including:
Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (J3) MGen Gaudencio Pangilinan,
Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans (J5) MGen Eduardo Oban, Jr.
Acting Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations (J7) BGen Victor Felix,
Asst. Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (J2) Col. Samuel Narbuada, Col. Restituto Padilla, Jr. of the Philippine Air Force,
Deputy Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Emilio Marayag,
National Development Support Command Lt. Gen Nestor Ochoa, AFP Commanders from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao namely,
Lt. Gen. Reymundo Ferrer of the Eastern Mindanao Command,
Lt. Gen. Hernani Perez of Western Command,
Lt. Gen. Roland Detabali of South Luzon Command,
MGen. Ricardo David of North Luzon Command,
MGen. Ralph Villanueva of Central Command,
Lt.Gen Ben Dolorfino of Western Mindanao Command And MGen Reynaldo Mapagu of NCR Command were also seen in the meeting.

Later in the meeting, Flag Officer in Command of the Philippine Navy Vice Admiral Ferdinand Golez and staff joined the simple breakfast gathering at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Compound.
The Armed Forces headed by Chief of Staff General Ibrado expressed their gratitude to Pastor Apollo for his unrelenting support to these men in uniform. |
