In a courtesy call to Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, Jose “Joey” de Venecia III disclosed that he wanted his life to go back to normal. The son and namesake of former House Speaker Jose de Venecia is the whistleblower in the allegedly anomalous $329 million NBN-ZTE deal.
“(I was) Physically, mentally, emotionally challenged because of my experience. Today, I came to visit the Pastor for his blessing, to help bring back normalcy in my life which I haven’t had in the last 24 months.”

At the Kingdom’s Covenant Mountain in Tamayong, Davao City, or popularly known as the Garden of Eden Restored, Joey and his staff went around to see the landscaped gardens and meet the Pastor themselves.
The younger De Venecia is eyeing for public office, running as a senatorial candidate under the Partido ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) Party. |

Pastor Apollo had lunch and prayed for de Venecia’s success in the coming senatorial race.
A child advocate himself, De Venecia lauded the efforts of the Children’s Joy Foundation which helps millions of neglected and destitute children in the Philippines: “What the Pastor is doing is really God working.” |
