Spiritual Revolution

Jesus Christ authored a Spiritual Revolution.  That is why He is my idol.  He is my leader.   He is my Savior because I consider Him the greatest revolutionary that ever lived.  He did not use armaments.  He did not use guns.  He did not use canyons.  He came with nothing.

When He was a child, He was laid in a manger.  When He was grown, He was called a carpenter.  There is no record that He had ever gone to school.  But at thirty years old, the anointing of the Father came to Him and He was anointed to become the beloved Son that would change millions and billions of people’s hearts.

Love is the most powerful word in the English dictionary. In John 3:16, the Word of God says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

When Jesus Christ came, all He brought was love.  He rebuked those who taught the way of the Lord but could not change men’s hearts. He walked the earth obeying the Father’s commands.  Not even the cross could hinder Him from His mission to deliver to us the unadulterated Word of God.

While on this earth, He was persecuted. He was hung on the cross, helpless but not hopeless. Man did not know, neither did Satan that this was the way of the Lord—foolish in the eyes of men, but wisdom in the sight of God.  This offering on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice that would change our heart and our mind; that would make us whole again and restore our broken fellowship, relationship and communion with God.

When His sacrifice was complete Jesus Christ left a revolution that rages even to this day.

A New Revolution

Change is not a very good word for people who are set in their ways.  If there is one thing that men do not want to do, it is to change. But if you enter into this revolution, you need a real change in the heart, a change in the mind, and the hardest thing, a change in the spirit. A man can change his heart by surgery, but only the Lord could make a spiritual operation.  For the spirit cannot be seen.

Whoever receives this revolution will not return to his sins or to his old life.  Even if you threaten to kill him, he will not go back to where he came from because the love of God had been perfected in his heart and nothing can separate him from that love.

This was what the Lord brought. He was the greatest revolutionary that ever lived and I thank the Lord because He called me to continue this revolution.

This revolution is neither a political nor an economic revolution. It is a revolution that happens in the spirit of man so that man can return to the Lord. Che Guevarra, Fidel Castro, Mao Zedong, or Karl Marx do not lead this revolution.  It is led by Jesus Christ.

I have read the books of Mao Zedong and Karl Marx. I have read the writings of Che Guevarra and other revolutionaries like Fidel Castro of Cuba. I was not impressed because the leaders of these revolutions all died. To this day, Vladimir Lenin and Mao Zedong lie inside glass encasements.

But Jesus Christ, the greatest revolutionary died helplessly in the hands of men.  He was buried in a borrowed tomb in ignominy. He was forgotten. The emperors in Rome thought that that was the end of this insignificant revolutionary. They were mistaken because after seventy-two hours, when corruption should have set in the body of Jesus Christ, a miracle took place. Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

And what did He promise to all His followers who are also revolutionaries in the spirit like me? He said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.” (Jhn 11:25)

Who has ever been able to make a promise like that? Mao Zedong? No. Castro? No. Marx?  No.  But Jesus Christ revealed, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” (Rev 1:18)

Who among these revolutionary leaders have ever made the promise that those that follow after them would one day, when the resurrection morning comes, when the sound of the trumpet is heard, when the Eastern gate is opened, a Messiah would pass in and will announce to His followers, “Get up! Live! The resurrection has come!”

We will have a body like His glorious body. It is a resurrected body. It is a body that you can touch and see, but it is a body that passes through walls because it is a glorified body. This is the whole meaning of this revolution. This revolution will usher in eternal life to us.

Other religions do not touch me either.  Mohammed died and he remains buried up to this day. Buddha died.  They have turned to ashes and one day, they too will present themselves before the judgment seat and who will they see? They will see this Great Savior that I am preaching about.

Love is the Greatest Commandment

In God’s spiritual governance, you can be sued for not loving your neighbor.  For what is divine love? He said, “Love one another that the world may know you are my disciples.” (Jhn 13:34-35) “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (Jhn 15:13) When you have love in your heart, you are ready to die for your neighbor’s sake. You will do good to him even if it costs your life.

There is an abundance of love in the hearts of God’s children. God’s love is evenly distributed. If I get a new shirt, you will also get one. If you live in poverty, God will prosper you. If you are suffering from a disease, you will be healed.

Nobody forced you to come into the Kingdom. By your own will you came and surrendered because that is the meaning of love.  You come to Him because you really love Him.  There are those who think that I was frightened into following the Father.  They feel sorry for me because I did not get married.  I told them, “For a revolutionary leader, these things do no matter anymore. I can leave them all behind for the revolutionary cause.”

There are rebels here in the Philippines who have left school, and have gone up to the mountains to fight for the rights of the masses.   But when they die, they have gained nothing.  If they can do that, why can’t we when the prize is eternal and spiritual; when true life begins only after death?

I am ready to offer my life for this revolution. When I can see all my Filipino brethren whose lives used to be so unrighteous changed not by force, but through love.

One Thousand Year Reign of the Father

The Father promised to give us His Kingdom. He said, “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” (Rev 11:15)

The Bible says that He will come to rule this earth for onw thousand years, and for a thousand years the earth will become a paradise.   People, kingdoms of this world, governments of this world, democratic, monarchic, communistic, whatever kind of governance, will turn their weapons into plow shears.

We will be war-free for one thousand years because Satan will be bound and deposited into the bottomless pit for a thousand years. He will bother this earth no more.

Do you think that this war we are waging against Satan started on this earth? No, it did not. It started in heaven. In Revelation chapter 12 we read how Lucifer had rebelled against the God of Heaven. He wanted to overthrow the Lord and sit on the throne of God. But Michael the Archangel defeated Lucifer and he was thrown upon the earth. He is called the deceiver of men.  He deceived Adam and Eve, all their progeny, the whole human race, and indwelt man’s body.  This is the root of sin.

Satan, called the great Serpent, is responsible for the wars, chaos, crimes, rapes, thefts, murders, and kidnappings happening in the world today. But when the Lord comes to sit on the throne, Satan will be bound. Wars will cease. Everybody will live by the commandments. Only two laws will be enforced: “Love God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul, with all your life;” and  “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

When you have God in your heart, naturally, you would not destroy your environment.  When you love God with all your heart, naturally, as a government official, you cannot become corrupt. You cannot rape a child. You cannot kidnap a person and behead him without reason. You cannot do that. You will love your neighbor as yourself.

And this place of the Lord will be peaceful. Everyone will be productive and the earth will become very beautiful.  Jesus Christ will supply our needs as He supplied the needs of the five thousand with two fishes and five loaves of bread.

There will be no poverty. No scarcity. Everyone will have enough because there will be no greedy people running around who do not share their bounty to the needy.

The Power of this Revolution

This spiritual revolution will come from the heart of the people. It is a revolution which teaches that if the power of the Lord works in a man’s heart, he will change and become obedient.  When a man makes the promise by repentance, “Not my will Father but Thine will be done in my life,” spiritual revolution will happen in his life.

The Kingdom people become very strong when they enter into this revolution. This is because the Bible says: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Rom 8:35)

A lot of people separate from the Lord because of poverty. They only serve the Lord in good times, but in bad times, they complain. There are also those who serve the Lord but when persecutions come, they cannot stand steadfast.

The revolution in your heart is not yet complete if you feel this way. The Apostle Paul said, “As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” (v 36-37

Can poverty separate us from the love of God? No. Suffering? Persecution? No. Famine? No. There will be times when you will suffer hunger for your faith.  Before I began this ministry, I was an evangelist in my own right. I was very young. I walked day and night through the rain and the sunshine. I knocked on every door to tell them about the good news, until my shoes wore out.  I had only one pair of pants that had become so thread worn, it was almost see-through.  But I did not complain and blame the Father because I lost my shoes and my pants. I told myself, “This sacrifice cannot pay for what the Lord had done for me to change.” Hallelujah!

Sometimes, we will suffer peril, or the sword.  A .38 caliber pistol had been pointed at me in Leyte, and in Antique, men wielding bolos surrounded the house where I was staying.  They wanted to kill me.  They really would have done that, but by some miracle, they could not find the door of the house.  It was terrible.  I could hear the commotion outside in the dark. As a human, was I afraid?  Of course, I was.  But in my mind, and in my heart, I thought, “If this is my time, so be it.  If God still has a plan for my life, then I will come out of this alive.”  But the dangers did not hinder me from reaching out to give you the Kingdom.

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  (v 38-39)

Now I would like to explain a little about being more than a conqueror.  For instance, you have a relentless problem that keeps visiting you.  Everyday, you try to overcome this problem.  At the end of the day you are able to say, “Thank you Lord!  Another day has passed and I have overcome the problem!”  You are an overcomer when you are able to say that!  You are a conqueror! But there is a difference between being merely ‘a conqueror’ and being ‘more than a conqueror.’  He said we are ‘more than conquerors through Christ who loves us!’

If at the end of the day, you feel weak.  You are in doubt if you can overcome the problem the next day.  You are afraid that you may fail to overcome it the next day.  You keep asking the Lord’s mercy.  Then you are only a conqueror.  If you were ‘more than a conqueror’ you would expect the problem to come every day.  You even challenge the problem each day.  “C’mon! Come back tomorrow!  Bring ten more problems with you!”  If the problem says, “I will not tire of pestering you until your hair turns gray!”  You will answer, “Fine!  Until death, I will face you!  I will be strong!  I will still defeat you!”

This is the revolution that is happening.  We are strong because nothing can separate us from the love of the Lord in our hearts.

Many people have asked me why I am so crazy about the Lord.  Do you know why?  I was just an old rejected relic.  I was auctioned off by Satan.  Nobody wanted me, but someone came and said, “I will take care of you.”  That is why I love him.
