In the first coming of Jesus Christ, the people of God were the chosen race – the Jewish people.   Before the Son of God was born, the Jews were already looking out for the Messiah who will save them from oppression.

As a nation Israel was always in bondage because the Lord wanted the Jewish people to follow His laws.  He was their king.  The laws He gave them were the laws written in the first five books of the Bible called the Torah. But the Jews always fell from grace. They always disobeyed His will.

This grieved the Lord because they wanted to replace the Lord God in heaven as their king. The Jews replaced the Lord God as their king and put a human king above them. That was when the troubles in Israel began. Israel became like the other nations around them. They backslid, they forgot about God and His laws and they went after other gods. For this reason, God turned away from them and left them.  He abandoned them into the hands of their enemies.

God departed from Israel.  They were forsaken and they were scattered all over the world. This is what we call the Jewish Diaspora, which is the dispersion of the Jews.

Jesus Christ found Israel and the Jewish people in this state when He came for the first time. They were asking for a Messiah. They wanted the former glory of Israel.  The king of Israel came back but the old mentality of Israel and their expectation was that their king would come riding on a white horse with armies following Him – mighty armies to conquer and destroy all the occupiers of the land of Israel and restore the glory of the kingdom of Israel like Solomon and David in their time.

That was their expectation. That was the old paradigm. That was the old understanding. But their king did not come in that manner.

The Messiah came in a manner that the people did not expect. He came humbly in a manger where the animals were. When He grew up and became thirty years old, He was ushered into His real ministry, the ministry as the Son of God, as the King. He called His apostles and revealed to them the will of the Father. He revealed to them the Kingdom, the mysteries of the Kingdom, why the Kingdom of God will come, why a new governance is going to govern the whole earth, why people should repent, and why people should surrender to this new governance.

What did the Jews do? They killed Him.

They did not accept Jesus Christ as their king, because they did expect Him to come in that manner. They did not know that their Messiah was not going to redeem or deliver them politically, or physically from their enemies, because the greatest bondage is the bondage inside. As the Messiah, the Lord God wanted to deliver them spiritually first, but they did not accept Him.

The Bible says that He turned His back on them and looked at a people that are not His people.  Romans 9:25-26 says:“I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.  And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.” For now, the Father is calling a people not only of the Jews but also of the Gentile.

Two thousand years later, so many now believe in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are more than one billion people who call themselves Christians because they believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.

But when I came, I found out that they are no different from the Jewish people. They also do not want to accept Jesus Christ as King.

The Christian people who accept Him as their Savior have not let Him in. All they have done was raise their hands to Him and say, “I am a child of God,” but they have made a shortcut to salvation. They were like the Jewish people – converted outside but not inside. They were not born again in the spirit. 

Everyone is looking for the Messiah. Everyone is looking to be raptured. Everyone is looking to be caught up in the heavens in a glorious manner, with a white horse and all the angels singing hallelujah at the back. This is the mentality of Christianity looking for the Messiah to come.  This is the old paradigm.

Many prophesied that He will come in 1988, but He did not come. Another prediction came in 1997.  Still he did not come.  In 2000, surely, He will come. 

He did. He came in a manner they did not expect. When God comes, He is going to find a body from the race of the first Adam because it is the first Adam who lost and fell from the grace of God.  It is he who needs to be redeemed.

So out of the billions of people in the world today, Jesus Christ is only waiting to find one body whom He can make His residence so that His Kingdom would come. His people are expecting Him but their expectation is an old paradigm like the paradigm of the old Jewish people.  I tell you, He is going to come in a manner you do not expect Him to come! Jesus gave us a hint. “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”  (Matthew 4:17)

The Kingdom of heaven is the residence of God. God is trying to find somebody who will receive the Kingdom inside of himself by overthrowing the first occupant who deceived our first parents.

So He appointed a time.

And one day, somebody was born on a cold Tamayong night. In due time, that body is going to be appointed to its place in God’s history.   He will take up from God the Father the scepter of the sonship. That time has come.

The Father has found a residence here. He has appointed a body, born out of the clan of Adam and Eve, to become His residence. The Father in heaven is happy because the life of His Son in a Jewish body has now found residence in a Gentile body. The Lord has already found a residence here. He now has a house here.

Whoever He chooses to be His residence, automatically becomes the Son.  That body becomes the Son!

You, children of God, whose minds are open.  You are waiting for deliverance.  I tell you, the Deliverer has come! The Father has come! He has come because He has found Himself a body! He has come in a manner that they did not expect!
