The Almighty Father wants His sons and daughters to be like Him, excellent in all His ways. As sons and daughters of the Kingdom, we represent Him through, the Son, in every thing we do, in every aspect of our lives.
For this reason, the Father revealed the message of the Revolution of Excellence, where wisdom, knowledge and understanding are to be sought far more than gold and any material thing in the world.
Green vs Yellow
The revolution of excellence was given to Pastor Apollo in a vision, where he was like the prophet Ezekiel facing a host of human brains. Out of that group, four green ones which stood out from among those which were yellow. A voice inside told him that the green ones are those which were renewed and transformed into the image of the Father through His Appointed Son by the Revolution of Excellence.
“Do you believe that these yellow ones will turn out as green?” Pastor Apollo asked .
“It will as you said, Father,” I replied.
There is a great responsibility each one of us will bear as we move on to practice excellence in every thing we do. All of our talents, abilities and skills would be useless if it falls short of being excellent. The Father, through His Son, is not contented with what is good, bett er or best, but He wants us to be excellent above all. This does not mean perfectionism, since it leaves no room for improvement. Doing what is excellent means not sett ling on mediocrity but a consistent and persistent struggle to do what is superlative or the fi nest at any given situation. Wisdom is the most important factor in becoming excellent in the Father’s Kingdom.
How can I become excellent?
We become excellent in the sight of the Father through wisdom. The Father gives wisdom to those who fear Him and forsake evil. Wisdom comes from having a Father and Son relationship with the Almighty Father. Obedience to His words – His commands, laws and teaching will make us wise.
The Father will give us His wisdom when we ask for it, as James 1:5 tells us: “ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” You can also look at the whole book of Proverbs, which is a collection of wise sayings from Solomon. Once we acquire wisdom, then excellence will surely follow!
Will obedience and sacrifice make me excellent?
Yes! Sons and daughters are people in training. The goal of their training is to become like the Father through His Appointed Son. One distinguishing mark of being a son or a daughter of the Father is to live a life of sacrifi ce and surrender and absolute obedience to the Father’s will, “Father, not my will but thine be done in my life, no matt er what.”
A son or a daughter has to give up every att achment to connect himself to the work of the Father through the Son. “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth aft er me, is not worthy of me,” Mathew 10: 37 – 38.
A son or a daughter lives his life under the authority of the Word of God through the message of the Appointed Son of God. , “If ye continue in my word, then ye are my disciples indeed,” John 8: 31.
Absolute obedience to the Father’s perfect will, through the message of the Son, deepens one’s relationship with the Almighty Father. Constant and daily asking “Father, what is your will for me today, through your Son?” gives him knowledge, wisdom, as well as power. This is where excellence comes in.
Once we get rooted to the Words of the Father through the Son, we become aware of the Father’s will to rule our life. When we have this sensibility, we develop an inner consciousness that will tell us to become excellent in all things for His glory.
Will doing what is pleasing to the Father make me excellent?
Yes, definitely! Let us use cleanliness as an example. There is a standard range of cleanliness of the Son to be followed, as instructed in 2 Corinthians 7: 1, “Having therefore these promises dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” It is an order.
This is what the Father through the Son wants us to be, our minds always active and sensitive to see and do what is good in the sight of the Almighty Father through the Son.
As sons and daughters of the Father, we should practice a sense of honor, a sense of value, a sense of industriousness, and a sense of endurance, which is refl ected when we say, “Father not my will but Thine be done in my life, no matt er what.”
Excellence is doing the perfect will of the Father
The Revolution of Excellence is addressed to overthrow the undiscerning spirit that has been planted in us by Satan the devil through the serpent seed.
Now, the Father wants us to eradicate the “poverty of the mind” through the power of the Revolution of Excellence through repentance and surrender of the serpent seed. The key is none other but the fear of the Lord.
As a renewed people, sons and daughters of the Father, we are not contented to just being “enough”. We strive to do what is excellent in the sight of the Holy Father through the Son. As such, we go for what is righteous, to what is excellent and what is the perfect will of the Father through the Son.
The Old will become New
The Father has revealed this message to create, through His Appointed Son, a revolution of our mentality, our old ways will be transformed into new ones as brought about by the Spirit of Obedience. Once we have repented and surrendered the serpent seed within us, which is the spirit of disobedience we inherited from Adam and Eve, and received this new Spirit, the spirit of obedience, which is the righteous seed that comes from the Father, we may “not be conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God”, Romans 12: 2.
The past will become irrelevant, “If anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold all things are become new,” 2 Corinthians 5: 17.
Maturity in the Spirit yields to Spiritual Excellence
Though we already have the righteous seed, what the Father truly wants is for us to grow up in maturity. We must grow up spiritually. Our spirit must also be excellent. Excellence in the spirit is when we become responsible and accountable. We face up to obligation, we face up to responsibility, as a matured son and daughter and we are accountable of what we do. That is what the Father is teaching us—that in anytime the Father sends us for a mission, we are accountable in what we do.
That is why everything that we do must be according to the Father’s will. Maturity is when we stand accountable in everything that we do. That is what is excellent in the spirit—we do not only grow in the spirit, we become excellent in the spirit.
What does being excellent in the spirit mean?
Excellence in the spirit means that you are full of the fruits of the spirit. There is no place for worry in the Kingdom. There is no reason for us not to att ain excellence in the spirit. Neither is there a reason for us to defend for ourselves. We do not have to be defensive in order to protect ourselves. If we are mistreated, the Almighty Father will defend for us.
All that we need to do is be fi lled with the fruits of the holy spirit. It is bett er to be mistreated and remained obedient for this would mean that you are genuine. But if you get back at someone who has mistreated you, you will be set aside in the Kingdom. It is useless that we protect ourselves. All we have to do is walk on the path of righteousness and remain obedient to the Father’s will and the Father will bless us.
We must be excellent in the spirit. The fruits of the spirit must be refl ected in our lives. In the Kingdom, the rule is the fruits of the spirit. The more that the fruit of the spirit is seen in us, the more that the Father will bless and trust us. That is being excellent in the spirit.
Furthermore, we must always be contented in everything that the Almighty Father has given to us. Everything that happens here in the Kingdom are all the will of the Father. The Father knows everything that is happening in the Kingdom, it is all connected to the Father. The Father knows all our needs. He knows what we deserve to receive. Our primary concern is to always be excellent in our obedience to the will of the Father. It will only be then when the Father will bless us.
No room for mediocrity, mismanagement of time, laziness, irresponsibility and filthiness
Mediocrity is not allowed in the Kingdom. Anything that is not excellent is not allowed in the Kingdom. We must try our very best in bringing out the most excellent result in everything that we do. That is when the Almighty Father will be glorifi ed in us.
Sons and daughters must likewise master time management. We must learn how to budget our time effi ciently. We must be responsible in managing our time. Here in the Kingdom, we cannot aff ord to lose time because every time counts especially when the Father asks us to do so much things.
Time is nothing to Filipinos. This old Filipino mentality must be taken out from us. Kingdom citizens are Filipinos with the new mentality which gives value to time and spends it wisely.
As sons and daughters, our minds must be awakened. It is not that we cannot do it. It all depends in our faith. Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” If we condition our mind that we cannot do something, our mind will surely not do it because, we are the ones who command our mind what and what not to do.
Furthermore, the problem among Filipinos is that they have the spirit of laziness, irresponsibility and fi lthiness. Filipinos have the Cinderella mentality. He wants other to serve him but he does not want to serve others. As long as his needs are being att ended, he is pleased but he does not want to do menial tasks such washing clothes and dishes, and sweeping the fl oor when in the Kingdom, such tasks are basic and are being done by everybody.
When it comes to cleanliness, we master that, we are excellent in that aspect. We no longer have to be taught in that aspect. We are industrious. We will not lose anything if we are industrious but if we are lazy, we will lose everything. The Almighty Father will not bless lazy people. Proverbs 12:24, “The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.” Laziness, like irresponsibility, is a part of the spirit of poverty.
1 Corinthians 14:40, “Let all things be done decently and in order.” In the Kingdom, the Almighty Father teaches us decency and orderliness in everything that we do. We must be responsible in everything be it litt le , be it great—in all aspects in cleanliness and in carrying out the ministry that the Father entrusted to us because if the Father sees that we can be trusted in litt le things, time will come when He will eventually entrust great things in our hands. Because if the Father sees that we cannot be trusted even in litt le things, He will never entrust great things to us. Here in the Kingdom, excellence is in the spirit. Maturity happens in the spirit.
Job 28:28 “The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.”
Proverbs 1:5 “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning: and a man of understanding shall att ain unto wise counsels.”
